The Mo-Kan Chapter of the American Business Women's Association was chartered on April 27th, 1980 in Lenexa, Kansas. This chapter and many other Kansas City chapters in District III are members of the Kansas City Area Council which meets quarterly to brainstorm and share ideas.

During our tenure, we've continue to evolve while providing scholarships to local college students, and educational opportunities, business and professional support to our own members. Our current membership is approximately 35 consisting of professional women from many types of businesses.
