Mo-Kan Chapter

March 8, 2017

Join the Mo-Kan Chapter's first of a 3-part Entrepreneurial series!

Did you know that positive phrases influence your thoughts and actions? And that your subconscious mind is at its most receptive early in the morning and late at night? Connecting those two topics led to Laura Schmidt’s aspiration: putting affirmative phrases on the toes of socks – and selling them to others.  From those humble beginnings, a successful business was born!

The Mo-Kan Chapter of the American Business Women's Association was chartered on April 27th, 1980 in Lenexa, Kansas. This chapter and many other Kansas City chapters in District III are members of the Kansas City Area Council which meets quarterly to brainstorm and share ideas.

During our tenure, we've continued to evolve while providing educational opportunities along with personal and professional support to our members. Our current membership is comprised of approximately 50 professionals from many types of businesses.

Please come visit to see how we can meet your needs!
