The Mo-Kan Chapter of the American Business Women's Association was chartered on April 27th, 1980 in Lenexa, Kansas. This chapter and many other Kansas City and Topeka area chapters in District III are members of the Kansas City Area Council which meets quarterly to share ideas and collaborate on activities.

During our tenure, we've continued to evolve while providing educational opportunities along with personal and professional support to our members. Our current membership is comprised of approximately 50 professionals from many types of businesses.

Please come visit to see how we can meet your needs!

ABWA Mission:
To bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.

We are meeting in person in August!

We have secured the largest of shelters at Shawnee Mission Park so that we can still social distance and still meet and see each other!

Please bring your masks to wear due to current local guidelines when not eating.  Also, it's mandatory to sign the waiver if you are planning to attend.
